‘OCEAN AND CLIFF GARDENS ON THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY!’
Our gardens sit on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way. Our Cliff Garden, with panoramic views over Clonakilty Bay, has gravelled walkways, Hammocks, outdoor sculpture by local artist Moss Gaynor and restful seating areas hidden amidst rolling dune grasses with native coastal planting for you to enjoy. Our Ocean Garden – an Organic Kitchen Garden – is a gentle stroll from the Cliff Garden. We have polytunnels, extensive outdoor raised bed areas with culinary herbs, seasonal salads and edible flowers.
Our horticulturalist, Sinead along with her team use permaculture principles with a dedicated organic and active composting area using seaweed and other natural manures. We utilise companion planting to increase fertility and to assist with biodiversity in our exciting and innovative garden.
